Isaiah 41:10
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
God's presence is the antidote to fear; His upholding hand steadies us when we cannot stand on our own.
Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Our capacity is not self-generated - it flows from union with Christ in every circumstance.
Isaiah 40:31

Waiting on God is active trust that exchanges our depletion for His endurance.

Strength and safety meet in God, who is near precisely when trouble is closest.

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.
Weakness becomes the stage on which God's grace and power are most clearly displayed.

...for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
